Good experience with gabapentin?

I was just prescribed gabapentin for my anxiety and insomnia, but I’m anxious (go figure) about taking it. I want to hear from people who had good outcomes from taking gabapentin for anxiety. I’ve already read about plenty of bad outcomes and possible side effects, so I don’t need any more of those! Thanks!

I have had nothing but good experiences taking gabapentin. It helps my fibromyalgia and back pain as well as my anxiety. Most nights it helps me fall asleep and stay asleep. It's ok to be nervous but please try taking it. You may be pleasantly suprised and if you have a bad reaction you can call your doctor. Good luck.

Hi I was prescribed gabapentin 600mg per day for brachialgia as it's called

Was in terrible pain couldn't move

Took a week to begin to have some effect and the pain slowly subsided over a month

It's great medicine

Only tapering must be done as advised by your GP
