I have plenty of sleepless nights. The main thing is to cope with it by only having mini 20 min naps and just acting like you can't stay in bed because the night wasn't right. Keep pushing through it and some semblence if a body clock normal day can happen. If you sleep by the third or fourth night. It really is worth paddling through all the lack of sleep, treacle.

Becoming a night owl. Depends on what you value.

Some nights I like the time to myself.

Other nights it's a pain. To many uncomfortable endorphins.

Best try your "now it's time bed routine" so you feel you have a choice about the quality of bed time you want.

I've been on mirtrazapine for nearly 10 years, I'm now on the maximum dose 45mg, and I still don't get a decent night's sleep 😴, I think unfortunately it maybe dreams or nightmares that wake me up, or even general aches and pains,I find that these tablets only act as a mild sedative, and that's about all they do these days, perhaps I'm use to them, and know longer have they same effect from when i was first prescribed, difficult, sorry its not a perfect answer but that's how my tablets have worked so far for me.
