Online Support Groups

Hi,

I suffer from depression and fear of intimacy and would like to join a Zoom support group (or similar).

I'm based in Sweden, but it doesn't really matter where it is.

Does anyone have any recommendations/experience of these, please?

I'm pretty sure HU doesn't support Zoom. We chat here where folks can join in and support you.

Hello. I too have been scouring Google looking for Zoom mental health support. I was attending National Organization for Mental Health (NAMI) meetings for a while on Saturdays. But now it interferes with my work schedule. I'm in the US, but I don't see why you couldn't join from Sweden. An issue I've run into is online meetings no longer held due to covid. We've been in the pandemic for 2 years. I don't get it! Hopefully it's not because those people are ill. But I've discovered many hotlines and mental health Zoom meetings are either closed or offline for holiday break. And this is detrimental for people with mental health issues. And substance abuse (alcohol/drugs) programs are the only ones that operate 365/7. I'm looking forward to responses from other members. I'm hoping they have come up with some resources I haven't found. Btw, I can afford to pay for the support groups provided they aren't extravagantly expensive.
