i may be wrong but sounds like u have had a hard life..........20 phd in the school of hard knocks like many of us.......

i believe in real not PC and not this PMS stuff they shovel.........i do agree we survivors have to build a psotive life and qujality of life but to tell people they havent been vicitized is rediculous...........

we shoujld at elast listen to each otehr............some peopel have been violated over and over again jst because they are nkice and kind.............society doesnt respect that an dthey get run over

Hi it’s Shnookie and as I have posted many times, I am Jewish and my father aunt and grandparents were Polish Jewish Holocaust survivors. Though Jews were targeted, I prefer the term survivors and those who went on to rebuild their lives. Some kept their faith and still had the faith in Jewish learnings and there were many others who turned away from their faith because of the hell they went thru and questioning where was God when the majority of family memories were slaughtered by the Nazi regime. As a child and grandchildren of survivors, I have questioned God but yet have kept my faith because I learned of miracles that befell people and allowed them to survived.

Studied Israel

And their cherities

Can’t talk politics

Very touching remark about kissing my grandparent’s hands. Actually my grandpa Nussen known as Pop used to kiss my hands. I was also lucky 🍀 that he sang In Yiddish - Jewish language from Eastern Europe ( combo of German, Hebrew, Polish, Russian, French and English among other languages) songs to me. Fond memories to me. Hugs 🤗 S

i have a star (not yellow as it should be) on my backpack.........i am a avid supporter of certain groups that reach out to the elderly in northern countries and elsewhere.......service men and women who shed real tears trying to get food and any*** warmth to the forgotten people often with tattoos on their arms.............my admiration and respect ..*** for them.........or anyone (such as LC and others on this site) serviing humanity (v spoiled or super entitled people) ..........is off ...........the chart...........

i know the history v v v well.........and can not discuss all the politics and exudus and anandndnand.......

by rights

when demcracy was democracy..................i should be wearing a yellow star gladly...........(and a black one or all colors as my friends and often best friends...........well........we just friends.......am im color blind socially...........

yes..........i have great great great respect for your grandparents, what they endured (omg) what the people endured.......and stop there as this is not a poitical site........

i do love cultures taht are cultures and respect

humanitarian service...........

in some cultures...........everyhone is valued as everyone serves society..............

in some manner or another...........

great lessons............

tip of the ice burg of lessons of lessons from people who faced horrendous adversity...........

and are an inspiration..............to this tiny man......

humbled by their

tenacity and what they endured/do so............

great lessons.......

too bad more doctors dont spend more time studying history and culture and not the innane DM5 that should be stored in the nearest toxic waste super site of people who need to get out of the office out of the book and realize the real world.............not their definition of the world.............especially speaking as an anthropoligist.................do u realize how many cultures and languages there are

and they think they ? are the standard? of what?

they maybe be brilliant but socially..............they would last twenty seconds out side inthe real world........

a time of compliance but not against those who tell us..........how to live eat and breath..............those are MY choices

Your knowledge of the situation and compassion for elderly people who helped liberate the concentration camp survivors is admirable. In America those who served in the military or helped out the war effort R known as the greatest generation. I’m familiar with stories of the blitzes and relocations of British children in London to the countryside to save their lives. Very brave souls and have listened to the songs of the great Dame VERA LYNN. Hope U have an easy Sunday. Hugs 🤗 Shnookie
