Do antidepressants hit a peak?

I take Cymbalta and it's time released so does that mean it hits a peak after so many hours of taking it? I ask because I take it in the morning and my anxiety lifts be 1pm. If that's the case I might take half at night and half in the morning so I'm not anxious in the first half of day.

If you have been told by your doctor to take it once a day this will be because the effects of it last 24 hours. It doesn't reach a peak but will last in your system for that time.

Possibly or your diet is causing it. Carbs or excessive sugar or caffeine for example. Too few veggies, etc If you can rule that out then I would talk to your doctor. I had to do that at one point. Fix the basics first :)
