Yesterday night I had panic attacks. The last time I had one was such a long time ago that I almost forgot how uncomfortable it feels. My mind was racing. It was so unpleasant that I went to bed hoping that falling asleep would calm my brain. I listened to an ASMR video to calm down and fell asleep.
When I woke up in the morning, I was still feeling anxious. Yesterday I spent morning to late evening doing work and I think that must have been one of the reasons for the panic attack. Sadly I have some work planned for today as well and I am not sure if I'll be able to complete them. Finally I've decided to take the day off. I spent some time outdoors with our pets and it seems to have helped a lot too. As I am writing this, I'm feeling normal again. Thank God!

Sorry to hear you are feeling this way, and yes, time with the pets who are members of our family is a way to help us relax a little and hopefully take away the anxiety….. I have done this with Sasha, our Staffie who is 15 years old in March….. she is a comfort to both my wife and I.
