I have always felt that Fall was a new beginning. Summer can fade off into the Autumn sunset, peacefully. I will not miss it. The array of gold, red and golden leaves and the warmish days and cooler nights bring me to a place of hope. 🍁

Hi snowdaze! Your words paint a lovely picture. I enjoy seeing the spectacular colors on the trees too. But I dread the winter, for practical reasons. The forced air heat and drafts in my home aren't good for me, and it's almost impossible for me to leave my home safely with snow and ice on the ground.

The crystallized ice on the windows is beautiful. Still, it's not enough to look forward to months of fear and misery.

Sorry that winter is tough 4 U. I live in Los Angeles, CA and if it gets to 60 degrees Fahrenheit we say it’s getting cold. Since I’ve lived her for the majority of my life, I take this 4 granted. Hope this winter brings U less aggravation. I’m here 4 U

Thanks for writing back. Wow, I think if winter 'round here only dropped to 60 F, I'd be in heaven. Have you ever seen snow? 🤣 You know, the fluffy, white stuff you use to make snowmen. ⛄ Wait a minute. How do you see the autumnal leaves in glorious color if that's as cold as it gets for you?

I guess it's six of one, half-dozen of the other. No wildfires round here. That's lots worse than being snowed in. So much for my fantasy of paradise.

I was born in New York and lived there 4 the first 7 years of my life so snow ive seen and also I’ve been to snowy areas of CA. I do see the autumn 🍂 leaves 🍁 here occasionally a little brisk

Many times we have really warm days and balmy nights. I’m lucky that I have an air conditioner in my apartment
