Ive been having nightmares almost nightly this week. I wake up and try to shake them off but theyre stuck in my head. When i go back to sleep they continue from where they left off it seems. Does anybody here have any methods or exercises to try and reduce atleast the frequency? I appreciate any suggestions.

Bad Dreams
This may sound bizarre, but I like to imagine taking an ally with me into my dreams. It could be anyone, but it should be someone you associate with protectiveness, someone you know would never let anything bad happen to you while they're around. It could be Superman, your best friend, whoever, but it should be a strong presence. I've found that it helps me feel like if my dreams go rocky, that ally will go to bat for me. In fact, several times I have dreamed of my ally (my father in law) coming to my aid and defending me. Hang in there, and best wishes.
I find sometimes with dreams reoccuring like this Im working out an issue....Is it a world issue ive seen on the news? Is it a deep dear or just my brain trying to make sense of it,Ive had dreams come true, and also it helps to draw them out even if its a stick figure design.I also count my blessings as i go to sleep hoping they are rewoked into my dream. a dream journal is good...and write your good ending....They say dreams are a way to clean out the day(or life?) sometimes i think its the 3 icecream cones and egg sandwhich i ate....
