I'm so sad because it always feels like I'm behind when I'm trying to learn and understand these Mechanical Engineering courses. The teachers go too fast in lecture (no other teachers) and when I tell them they just say " watch the zoom recording." For me, it's hard staying motivated to even go back and review the lecture again. I really want to be an engineer, but so far all there has been is book work, calculations and nothing hands on. There's no tutors for all my classes with the exception of one. Other students are struggling as well. I'm just really stressed, depressed, frustrated... does anyone have any coping or survival tips?

I'm not sure, but my son is going into 4th year mechanical Engineering and is doing pretty ok. I suppose the course just suits him Frankly it emwould do my head in!
He hasn't had a lot of hands on either due to Covid, but would have had in the first two years. What year are you in? Thete is no question it is a tough course!.
Don't know if l could ask him for tips. He might not approve of me being on support groups!
Doing questions and past papers will help you and motivate you. It will help you focus
