Very very very gradually

Mirtazapine is notoriously difficult to withdraw from so resign yourself to a very long titration

You can withdraw and be free from mirtazapine but it is going to take time , sorry if this advice sounds bleak but it is best you are forewarned , there are mirtazapine withdrawal forums online that are well worth reading

Thank you for your encouragement. My problem is that I expect withdrawal to happen quickly. I've tried various options to taper off m but non worked yet.

I’ve been on mirtazapine for maybe 2 years. Started with 30mg and I managed to get down to 15mg with help from the doctor. I have been struggling to do the next step which is one every other day. Maybe I’m putting too much pressure on myself. So I now still take 15mg every day.
