I know and that's why it saddens me Sending you a gentle hug xx
No thanks
It was supposed to be funny.

10. Last but not least -- this site and all the wonderful people here. I would not have made it thru the pandemic without them. Thank you all & God bless.
My seven year old tends to be a pessimist. I’m trying to nudge him into being a realist.
I asked him what he was thankful for. He couldn’t make a list. I asked him to think about losing the things he wasn’t thankful for. Then I asked him to tell me three things he was thankful for. Somehow that jogged his memory and I really think the gratitude improved his own outlook.
My friend encouraged me to make gratitude list for a month. Right now it doesn't help. EX. I am grateful for: ceiling fan, thunderstorm, lemonade. She is a positive and strong woman, and always was so cheerful in her answers. I quit doing it.
I definitely understand that. Have you tried being thankful for your body? I’m thankful for my brain, my eyes, my lungs, my thumbs, my fingers, my feet, my sense of taste, my soul, my heart, and so much more. They work so hard for me every day to keep me alive and allow me to experience enjoyment and help others.
aw 😒
I'm glad you made another post about what you are grateful for. I think doing that helps put things in perspective, even if it's small things gratitude leads to happiness (in some sense)
Makes sense. I often detach from my body so I neglect seeing it. Thanks.
Technically speaking thats being grateful for something . Receiving nothing means it doesn't raise ur stress & anxiety levels & doesn't add to any depression.
So how much work are you doing on ur thoughts & feelings & of course keeping depression at bay?
