Being on the brink of losing it

Been going through hell for the past month, I have been dealing with it the best I can but I blue up at someone and it was not pretty. I feel so bad but on the other hand I don't. Is that wrong?

I guess it depends on what caused you to blow up. Did they deserve it? If not, you may owe someone an apology or at least an explanation

At the time it happened it was a very validated reason. This person was belittling me and I just snapped.

Then, I would not feel bad at all

Hey, forgive yourself and is possible to make amends to the person. I wish I could blow up at people and not take it all in.

No one should belittle anyone…I send you hugs…

Yes i agree..life is a two way street.....that some try to impose one way limitations.

Short answer...No.

Slightly longer answer....

You should give yourself permission to be a human being....allow yourself to be you...often a feeling of guilt is a by product imposed by other people on to you in order to let them feel blameless. Those "You should have "thoughts...create internal unease...often self generate more guilt...Which creates a wall against feeling better. This often leads some towards self harm...self punishment...low self esteem....all negative thoughts and feelings.

And When you repress feelings long enough..they build up resentment...then .any little thing can trigger an over reaction.

Learn to let go....be kind to yourself...reward yourself ...express gratitude...live and let live.....guilt is a negative trait that serves no purpose.... if it does not illicit a change for the good...just let it go.

Changes for the better...start with the heart and mind...forgive and forget sometimes those two actions cure bad thoughts and feelings.

Stay positive be well.

Sorry to hear it has been a rough month :( We all lose our cool at times and if you feel it is warranted, you can apologize for any damage done. But even if nothing needs to be done with that person/situation, it sounds like you need to find a way to get some stress relief so that you won't "just snap". Are you working on that?
