Hi I've recently had liver problems and as a result my consultant stopped all my meds to give the liver a rest.I have been taking Paroxetine since losing my Mum and sister 10 years ago. Since stopping them my anxiety levels have gone through the roof I'm not sleeping and every day is a struggle to keep the panic I'm feeling under control.Is this withdrawal from the Paroxetine being stopped so abruptly. Thanks for reading xx

I am surprised you have been on this drug so long, withrawal may take some time so You may need to pace yourself coming of this medication

Talk to your Doctor He will help youcome of this common medication, that can be misunderstood under these circumstances

Hi Bob thanks for replying to my post yes I was on it for a long time but it kept me on an even Keel and has got me through a lot of stressful situations.

Hello Fran, people are suprised that some overcounter drugs can be addictive. There are medications more appropiate for stress.
