Mirtazapine side effects

Hi. Do side effects of Mirtazapine go away after a few weeks? I’ve been taking 7.5 mg over the last three weeks to help with sleep (I’m also on sertraline) but even this low dose makes me feel groggy and a bit spaced out during the day. Do you think this will improve? Thanks.

Yes. It is worth persevering with it. I have been very pleased with how it works on my depression. Fingers crossed for you 🤞🤞🤞

Thanks. I increased my dose 5 days ago to 15mg as I was getting more nervous before going back to the office after working mostly from home the last year, and stayed on this dose since then. I sleep very well but again during the day I find it quite difficult to concentrate and feel quite tired. Do you think this will pass as well? I want to have a good night sleep but then during the day I worry too much and keep thinking if these side effects will go away. I guess it must be a symptom of my anxiety in a way ...

Hi I’m on 30 mg of mirtazapine and 200 mg sertraline I was taking both in the day time and told my Dr I was feeling groggy she said I should be taking at bedtime she was right I’m not groggy anymore I hope this helps been on meds since 2015
