Eye zaps with coming off venlafaxine

Hello, I'm new here and I'd just like to know other peoples experiences with eye zaps when having come off venlafaxine tablets slowly... how long does this side effect last for?

Hi I've recently come off venlefaxine and weaned off really slowly. Not sure what dosage you are / we're on ? If you open up the capsules there are small tablets inside 12.5 mg each keep reducing by 12.5 every couple of days till your down to one it helped me this time had no zaps at all .hope this helps

Yes orh thats what I did too with the little tablets inside and I did taper off as intended but yet still these loud noises in my head and on eye movements, noticing it mostly when I try to sleep and its mucking up my sleep!

I’m trying to come off after 10 years. Have cut my 37.5mg into 4 but my mood and withdrawal is awful
