Chest pain at night and cough

Hi! I am new here, glad I found this online community. I have had anxiety here and there for the past 3 years. Had Covid over a month ago, mild symptoms. I had major anxiety when I got it hoping that symptoms would stay mild. Now in the evenings I have chest pains and now a cough. I do not have any pain during the day. Reading online this could be anxiety. Anyone else experience this?

Hi Amy and Welcome, Because of the fact that you did have Covid over a month ago, it would be best if you talked to your doctor regarding the chest pains and cough. It could

I do not think it is Covid related. I have spoken to dr and thinks it’s probably anxiety too since it only happens in the evenings. I was wanting to see if anyone else experienced this type of anxiety in the evenings.

Amy as long as you have checked with your doctor and he thinks it's anxiety,

I would treat it as such. As for myself, I have not experienced that issue and can't

relate to it. I wish you well and please keep us updated. xx

I am with Agora1 on this as there is a condition called long covid. A person still suffers the symptoms but will test negative and usually is diagnosed after actually having had Covid 19.

But yes it could be anxiety and the symptoms you describe match my anxiety symptoms but mine happens at all sorts of times during the day.

Has your GP prescribed anything for the anxiety? Would be a good test cos if it goes away with medication then you know for sure.
