Does anyone speak washer machine?

I have a relatively new washer. 1 yr old. I went to move clothes to dryer & discovered the clothes were dry. I removed some stuff rearranged the rest & started it again. It works now. But paranoia had me sit next the washer and wait for trouble. That gave me time to read emails. I just wish I knew why it was not working at first. It didn't seem overloaded.

Possibly the water supply to machine cut out. especially if it's mains water. I doubt it's the inlet solenoid valve on the machine. Could be some others things but unlikely.

It may sound silly.. but... Didi you even actually run the wash cycle? Sometimes it's easy to forget that if you're stress d or thinking of something else.
