You are fine. It happens. Panic gets the best of all of us sometimes. Please do give your doctor a ring though. I know I linked an article and all but they will know best. Especially if allergies are involved. I just want to make sure you have the most accurate information possible and I think your doc is much better suited than I for that. Best wishes.

I believe I was asked if I was allergic to eggs before given vaccine. But I'm hearing they may end up putting the vaccine in with flu shots in the future. Anyone else has heard that?

Hello, I used to be allergic to eggs, could not have the flu shot, I finally outgrew the allergy, I spoke to a Dr. who told me they breed the virus differently now, still in eggs, he had me come to his office and moderated me along with his head nurse for 45 mins. He had me come back and take a pneumonia shot 2 weeks later (that was my first time I was 50). I did well with both, a little side affect from flu, lasted 24 hours, nothing happened with other shot. So I go every year and have my dose, now I am older it is even stronger, no affects. (Insert smiley face here). I have not had the vaccine, I have been waiting, as I do not do well with med's and vaccinations, also I have had annaflactic problems a few years ago. So if I were you, talk to a knowledgeable Dr. go on line and look for help. Do not drive yourself crazy. Talk to us we will give you love and support.....+ hugs......xxx ooo

Sprinkle1 is right... vaccines are made differently today - especially the covid vaccine - which was built on a completely different platform. in fact - it's this new platform that we have to thank for the speed in which the vaccines were developed... many years had already gone into the new platform's development.

so as far as egg allergies go - you should be fine... but as with all things - you should consult a dr that knows your complete medical history!!!
