hello fellow users, today is a good day! im alive my family is alive and i was able to snag food from HEB (of course paid for) but store have been empty!
well all is good or at least better i still pray for the rest of Texas or anyone in TExas struggling right now, shit anybody thats struggling right now ! how is everyone ?
i met some new people going through this and some oppurtunitys have been given to me and im so thankful and i cant help but think that everyone who has responded to me on here even tho i just hoined like a week ago has been over whelmingly great ! (sorry for my miss spelled words)
i currently have a mini washer inside my aparment and i can hear everyone arguing for the laundry matt outside i hope they get it all taken care of also
i hate yes i used hate that they are going to over charge us for something that is out of anyones control on electricity !!!!

Hi Moe, so happy to hear things are a bit better! Glad you found what you needed at HEB. On Wednesday the stores here were running out of bottled water, but they have stocked up since then and so I’m super grateful for that. Yes, sad that there have been many tragedies 😞 there always are in extreme weather conditions. But also... we got through it, and Texas is gonna be ok. It’s wonderful to see people pulling together to help each other as they have been in my area. 👍 Prayers for those who are still in need. 🙏
I was actually doing fairly good through the cold/ freeze/ power failure. But that’s probably just because having more stuff to do and think about helps my depression. Right now it’s more of a struggle on account of some pipes burst so water is off for our house... no showers, must take laundry out to laundromat, etc.
I’m sure it was much more stressful for you since you have a family to look after! But I hope at least they enjoyed seeing the snow. 🙂
