Anyone else have a really hard time meditating?
There are different meditation techniques. Maybe the one you are currently practicing is not the right one for you. There are plenty of guided ones on YouTube. Last one I tried is a gratitude meditation.

So may I ask
How do you feel in your self when the feeling of vibrating out of your skin ?
If it makes you feel secure but it feels weird as you’ve never felt this before may I suggest.try having a 5 minute break drink half a pint of water and try again.
You may even find it takes you on a nice soothing adventure through your mind while your body acclimatises to the meditation and vibrating.
Some times all you can do is just go with the feeling and don’t fight it.it could always become even nicer

Oh that's just an anxiety thing. Close as I can figure it's tied to fight or flight panic response. I've dealt with it as long as I can remember and it's awful
I had a hard time meditating when I started out. I found that I couldn't relax and couldn't slow my thoughts down. I found a youtube channel, The Honest Guys, and that worked pretty well for me. Very calming voice and a wide variety of videos.

Ive had NUMEROUS head trauma n I don't think meditation is designed for me.
Oh...calming voices and or slow talking even more cracks me up laughing.
I'll just use my "music" to float me to Never never land,lol
I guess I'm destined to be a lifetime member of the sillyhead club,lol👍
Endure it gently. Also seek out meditation lessons or learn from a teacher. Lots of talks on YouTube by Buddhist monks giving free talks on how to meditate on the breath. Art of Living offers courses called sahaj Samadhi which teach mantra meditation. Or follow any reputable guided meditation. Start slowly, 5 min, 10 min, then 20 min.
Also you can try loving kindness (metta) meditation.
