It's revolting and terrible but it's not surprising. I'm probably more cynical than is good for anyone to be but I sort of expect societies to try and strip people of their dignity. 😢

It may be it has to be removed so the Warder need to see their faces, or trying to hide something. In prison everyone is the same, although they can practice their own faith in the UK, I cannot judge sorry there will be some very good reasons for this. I suppose we all are covering up our faces etc at the moment. As mentioned I am in the UK and things may be different here

As I have said, I have very little to do with Jails and I also never really have any interaction in the Moslem Faith. However I have travelled all over the Middle and Far East so I bend to the expectations of that State visited. I am no racist when I was living near cities I had many friends from that part of the world, some granted covered up although many would dress as westerners. I have no axe to grind here I treat people how I find them.

Are you Anxious and Depressed because of this please, as this seems to be nothing to be depressed about, rules are rules and we have to follow rules here in the U.K because of the Virus and not many like to wear these masks but it is a case of life and death to put it bluntly. Know nothing about wearing or not wearing one in jail, prison. If you are visiting a prison here in the U.K then you may be asked to remove what you wear on your face so that the authorities can see your face properly, can also check if your uncovered face matches your passport or other documentation.

I understand this, you mean there are groups of people who have certain colours that discriminate against you. Are you in the U.S.A or U.K ? it does not matter to me which as I am not a person who is one that discriminates against peoples colour or religeon. I believe that there is good and bad in everyone and everywhere for all colours and religeons. It is sad.
