see you all tomorow!! here's today's second poem. for those of you who don't know, the symbol of a semi-colon that is tattooed on someone usually is an allusion to the awareness of suicide, depression, addiction, and other mental illnesses.

semi-colon [;]

a symbol, so overlooked

but has more meaning

than the scars on my wrists.

how can something like this

be so well hidden;

forgotten by society?

or maybe it's the pride;

how we can't admit

WE NEED HELP.

this tiny mark on the page

with its meaning,

"and."

and,

and,

and,

if only to add to the reasons that

i do not belong here.

take me away;

so i may be part of a larger story;

nevertheless wasted ink on the page,

soon to be only dust.
