Many people I know have decorated already for Christmas. Many have gone all out. I have no idea what I want to do this year. My husband has no interest in decorating but has been hinting that he wants the house decorated. I plan to put up our village and decorate the mantle but this year for me less is more. Never took the tree down last year. Found too much comfort in my ornaments and the many stories and memories each of them holds. Now I'm considering taking off the ornaments and keeping things simple with just lights and a star on top. Also thinking about getting a real tree. Something small that would fit on a table top. No idea what to do. No idea what I want. Just something smaller and different this year. How are all of you decorating this year?

We are going to my daughter and son in law for Christmas so am thinking that I will not bring my big heavy tree in again this year. I have a real tree in a very big pot which we carry in with great difficulty. Last year we also went to my daughter so didn't bring it in then either. It is looking all the better for being left outside.I will decorate using garlands of artificial leaves and berries, little birds etc.
It does cheer me up once I have decorated so it will for you too.
My daughter has two or three trees as she has a big house over looking a beautiful rolling garden.
They are artificial which are nice but not the same as the real thing I think.
I have holly and ivy in cases in my fire places.
Good luck with your decs.

We are decorating the same as usual and I’m trying to find small ways to add some excitement to the season to add a little cheer in the home without being expensive. For the first time in my entire life I made popcorn garland. It’s cute, inexpensive and was kind of meditative sitting there stringing the popcorn. Best wishes
I have strings of bells and lights hanging above fireplace. We string beads and made all types of Christmas ornaments last weeks. Then on mantle I have big white bunches of flowers from a dollar store. Candles throughout the house. I planted amaryllis bulbs for indoors which I think should grow by Christmas. We decided to put a small fiber optic tree out front and some lights lining the and for inside another small also 4-5 foot tall real tree that we will decorate.
Have not got to decorate this year. We usually decorate outside. Put up lights on the house and put our blow molds up. Inside my sisters decorates. She puts out here stuffed animals. She is a big kid at heart and always will be. Then we decorate the tree. ⛄🎄🏠 🎅🏼🤶 Fun time!
