Hello fauxartist...This is sophie4. Oh my...I can't find your reply to Starrlight...this site is driving me nutty. In your reply you asked Starrlight if the painting was her work or mine...from your lips to God's Ears...if I could have one tiny, tiny stroke of Starr's talent I'd know true happiness.

All artwork, from the great Masters, to every type of art (the list would be too long) art memorizes me. On my father's side of the family, including my dear father, everyone was amazingly artistically talented. There is one person who isn't...me. As a child I asked my dad what I could learn to join the family talent. He paused,obviously deep in thought, looked at me and simply said, "Learn to sew."

And so, I smiled as I read your reply.

STARRRRRLLLLLIGHTTTTT HELP, HELP, HELP!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! I was writing you a reply to the most precious gift you have given me, left the computer for just a few moments...and whosh...it vanished!!!! PLEASE help me find it. And yes, I scrolled all the way down. But I also did something I have no idea what it is...but a message keeps popping up say "You have pressed on snapshot. Do you want to save it?" I always replied 'no'. This time I replied 'yes'....but where is it????I AM SO FRUSTRATED!!!!! And I want to accompany my sister to the dentist and must watch the time.

In my reply that was NOT finished, I never got to the point of asking you how you feel today...how do you feel????

But I can thank you again and another million thanks for such an overwhelmingly incredible gift!!!!!!!!!!

Thank you for taking the time to talk with me about art. I very much get joy from it at times. Lately I realized how much I loved my fundamentals of design class in college and the painting class I took as well. Those were the days... I got through classes without freaking out with anxiety or paranoia I worked too and with a young child I juggled it all somehow. I’d like to see some of yours Paintings and ceramics if ever you feel you can share.

I agree with everything you mentioned. Sounds as though you belong to a community of artists?

Art, as you said, is very personal. Appreciating art seems to be my 'talent' artistically speaking. I do have another talent but in response to many circumstances, all very, very sad and shocking, that talent ended over 20 years ago.

Oh...I have never given a thought to what other people think about me in any aspect. How a person perceives me is their assessment (I guess that's one word I can use)and clearly their problem, not mine.

Hope you're having a wonderful day!!! We sure are living in difficult times...feel surrealistic!!!
