I've been working nights for 3 years and after my recent institutionalization I find it hard to handle. I've been dealing with anxiety on my time off cause I feel so alone and have nothing to do. I cant switch to days. Does anyone have any advice on how to handle my night time anxiety

I worked nights for many years. Which part of it makes you anxious?
Are you getting enough sleep?
I'm not sure. I think it's the days and weekends where everyone is gone or sleeping. I feel like all I've done for the past 3 years is sleep now I want more but I'm so tired all the time. I think I get enough sleep maybe too much I've been using it lately as a form of escape
I can relate to that. It's a whole different lifestyle from everyone else. Hard to do much else than sleep or drink coffee.
I just lived like that. Missed out on a lot of things. Attended things but didn't feel 100% due to fatigue.
Then I had coworkers who could function completely fine and I could never figure out what I was doing wrong.
My doctors highly discouraged the shift but it worked for me. If I could do a rewind I never would have done it.
