I’ve been on sertraline on and off for years and I get all of these too! I never made the connection, but it can cause “brain zaps” which kind of feel uncomfortable in the same way, so I wouldn’t be surprised if they were related.

If you just started taking it, I would ask your doctor right away because it could be serotonin syndrome or something like that. I do identify with these symptoms (they get worse closer to my period; I dunno if that’s relevant to you).

I just read 'Most cases of serotonin syndrome start within 24 hours after starting or increasing a serotonergic medication and the majority of those start within six hours.' I upped to 50 mg about two weeks ago so I doubt it would be anything like that. It is also that time of the month so maybe that is also why I am feeling sensitive. Thanks for your reply!

i was on 200 mg Zoloft(Sertraline) for 21 years. It held the line on my depression but began to fail in Anxiety.......who's medications isnt failing this year, everyone I know has had to have a medication change this year....

Any side effects I had were over fairly quickly, because i kept taking it and if it would have weird-ed me out I would have quit quickly.
