Could this be generalized anxiety?

I have not had the chance and courage to visit a psychologist yet, however, I have been having these symptoms for years and after doing some research about it, I'm pretty sure I have some type of anxiety. It mostly manifests from stress and my symptoms are usually physical. During my worst time, I lost my appetite, my throat would feel constricted, I had chest pains, difficulty breathing, dry mouth, heart palpitations, etc. I went to a doctor back then, but they told me nothing was wrong with me. Later that year, I realized that it was probably my mental state, not my actual body. Recently, it developed into headaches. I learned to acknowledge my heart palpitations or anytime I felt I could not breathe. I realized it was all in my head and learned to not be scared. I don't have such extreme symptoms that often anymore. But sometimes it disturbs my sleep (waking up at least once during the night) or my chest would feel heavy or I would get a headache. Most often it's not thoughts, but physical sensations that keep me up at night (unless I start overthinking these sensations and then it's a mixture of both). I usually would do a lot of sports, which helped a lot with alleviating my stress, but due to the pandemic, it's not possible anymore. I know I should probably go see someone, but it just isn't as easy as it seems. Does anyone maybe have any tips? I'm really trying to be more aware of what my body is telling me, but sometimes I forget to take care of myself.
