Attacks lasting days.

Hi, I was just wondering if anyone has had what feels like a anxiety attack for days! I have ocd and struggle to regulate my anxiety, but it’s coming on to four days of palpitations and breathlessness now I was wondering if anyone else has experienced this.

Thanks

I have! I also have OCD & Anxiety.

A few years ago I would get constant panic attacks every single day. It wasnt fun but it really wore me out too. After these attacks I felt okay and calm. Before the attack comes on I tell myself that “I have been through this before and I can get through it again, ANXIETY CANNOT HARM ME”

Just remind yourself it will pass & do lots of positive self talk. Telling yourself negative thoughts makes everything worse and I know it can be a bad habit. I’m guilty of doing that. Still am at times...

Try and do some meditation or do something to keep you busy!
