Missing summer.

I wonder if anyone else is missing summer and feeling down because we have a long Covid 19 winter ahead of us.

I hope this little taste of summer cheers you up a little.

Lovely photo, I prefer Autumn to be honest, as I struggle with the heat at times and find it has a negative effect on my mental health.

The Winter ahead is a worry, with more time being spent indoors but hopefully everyone will be mindful in their behaviour.

Thanks, I like autumn most years but am finding it harder to stay cheerful with Covid taking hold again.

Beautiful picture.

I miss the summer " that wasn't". I had some lovely days at the beach.

Walking the beach is something that brings me peace. I have some beautiful pictures and videos to look at.

Maybe next summer will be different.

Yes looking back at pictures on my phone or camera or in my mind's eye can be a great comfort.

I spent my summer as a census worker which meant I interviewed many people at their door in 95-100 degree heat climbing stairs with a mask on. And believe it or not I miss it. It was a second job. I need to find something else like that to do.

That sounds interesting but uncomfortable work in the heat.
