Hi, really happy to be here, so I request for your help and advise, I have living in life of anxiety and much depression for a long, I really fill like I can't even control it, I have been fighting with an addiction of masterbation for a long time after seeing the bad side of it. Iam 23 yrs now when I hard that when you do it for so long, you cannot get a child, i tried stopping but I really failed because I was leaving a lonely life, so it was tough to stop. So now I have really stopped it and I have not done it for a long time but everytime I think about not having a child and some how I might not be able to get a wife, I just spend the whole day in misery and really depressed can't do anything well, and this feeling comes everyday. I really don't know how to stop it

I strongly suggest you seek out some professional help. You sound very shaken up, and need to stabilize so things don't get out of control.

Don't worry about not being able to have children! I'm not an MD, but I don't think that excessive masturbation leads to being sterile.

thanks alot Canoe22 , it really meant alot , am were i live seroiusly is hard to get a professional therapist or anyone professional that understands this kind of situations i rly tried, but thanks

Congratulations on gaining self control over your situation. That is a credit to you!

One thing that worked well for me was to join a Christian singles group. We had a lot of discussions on dating and relating to a future spouse. They will help you build up your knowledge and confidence. A church nearby may have a group or check out groups on Meetup.com. Also - there is a good website called boundless.org. Lots of good singles topics and advice there. I recommend praying over your dating future. Be patient. Good luck!
