Awesome pamphlet!

Just ready a pamphlet called "comparison the thief of joy" It begoña with a letter written in 1927 from a farmer in Iowa to cousins in Illinois. He wrote about his tractor, the trouble at the local bank and jack rabbits eating crops like wild hogs! This used to be correspondance. Now we go to social media and glimpse into the lives of friends (which is often really great). When we compare our dull existance to the gorgeous vacation pics, we tend to forget that before the snapshot the kids were fighting, the husband was complaining about the fish he child have caught, and the one who posted just really would have rathered be completely Along for the week! Oh, but look at those smiles😍

So true. I had facebook and I used to look at it first thing on the morning and it would really bring me down. I kept seeing all these people doing so many great things with so many friends it made me feel like my life was crap. As you say "comparison is the thief of joy". Got rid of Facebook about 4-5 years ago, so much happier!
