We have to fight them off by replacing them with positive thoughts. One way is to think of things to be thankful for . For examples:

Are you blind or do you have sight? Being thankful that you can see, many people can't.

Do you have access to clean drinking water? etc

Listing things to be thankful for should help.

Other ways include distraction. Is there anything you are able to do such as help another person? Get out for a walk in a park or the countryside?

Thinking of anything beautiful in nature to be thankful for.

Do you like taking photographs? Look for some unusual wild flowers to photograph for example, butterflies, insects. Be proud of yours achievements.

Plan and cook a favourite meal, or bake a cake, take a photo and enjoy. Anyone you could share it with?

Is there an organisation near you looking for volunteers? A charity shop or Food Bank ?

Have you tried drawing, painting or any crafts.

Concentrate on your good qualities.

Just a few ideas.

And - remind yourself that you are Precious. You are unique. Concentrate on the good.

All good advice below, some other things that help a lot are the following: A good multi vitamin to give your body what it needs to feel better. Esp extra magnesium to calm your mind body and spirit, magnesium malate is one of the best, mag. citrate can cause diarrhea. Ginseng is great to get rid of the sticky negative thoughts that loop!! Helps so much! Get outside, barefoot and no sunscreen to get grounded and get vit. D which is a mood enhancer. Walks are great, esp w a trusted person to talk with. Hope these help you too! <3
