Hi I want to share my experience with my anxiety I had a flight yesterday and I was there I Check-in and my bag is already in the plane and I just wasn’t ready to travel my siblings are pissed off bc I’m not flying I don’t care what they think I’m not ready to do this I’m not freaking out but I want ready to do that I got home super tired for all the stress and I went to bed ! What everyone think I’m I overthinking is it stupid my family doesn’t understand me and there’s no support and that sucks

Angymunoz, I give you credit for going as far as the airport and checking in, That ws

a big step but you still need a little more time to psyche yourself in going to see your

father in another country. I understand, the forum understands, but never put yourself

down because of others who don't have a clue in what it's like to suffer from anxiety.

Everyone can feel anxious before a test, before a flight, when in an emergency situation.

However, our anxiety is more than a fleeting fear. As you saw, when getting home, you

had all the effects and more. Our nervous system is over stimulated, it doesn't come

down from that stress that easily.

You did the right thing. We can only push so much but we know when the time just

isn't right for us. This is about you right now. We are here for you because we know

what it's like and we care. Use today to regenerate your mind and body. You are

safe. :) xx

If you aren't ready, you aren't ready! You are the one who is going to stress out and worse. You did the right thing. When you are ready, you'll get on that flight. Until then, take care of YOU
