Social anxiety Disorder

I am suffering from Social anxiety Disorder am having irrational fear of being watched, Judge, embarrassed or humiliated. It difficult for me to interact with others. Pls what can I do to get out of this.

I dont have any behavioral advice to help you get out of that. It's a terrible disorder that isolates you. Sertraline has helped me a ton and levothyroxine. Seretonin seems to make all the difference. I went from panicky, anxious, dumb and painfully self conscious to relaxed, confident, intelligent and serene. Find ways to increase seretonin naturally if you dont want to take medication. Look out for diseases like celiac that can deplete your seretonin and neurotransmitter levels

Hey, and welcome! I've dealt with that my whole life, and it's still difficult. But from what I've learned and observed, a lot of it comes from the imagination. And that's what raises the anxiety, since it portrays a false reality of what could happen rather than what is. It might not be something you can just get out of right away, but with the right tools you can slowly manage things. It's not something you want to fight, because doing so will only add fuel to the flame. It's great that you're here and can start interacting with folks as much as you'd like. It's a good first step. :)

I have the Social anxiety too and what helps me is being in therapy, My therapist has been helping me out on how I can cope with my social Anxiety and things I can do to stop my social anxiety when it happens. I highly recommend going outside and walking everyday or at least once a week because that will help you, It helped me a lot and still till today it helps with my social anxiety. I also recommend journaling right down everything that scares you when you go out in public or just write in journal how you feel and it helps me too. What you can also do is when you are out in public and you feel uncomfortable is count in your head or out loud and that will work or what you can do is look around the rooom or area you are in and name everything you see and everything you smell and everything you touch, you can even do this in your room when you get anxiety. Not all of these will work but Highly recommend trying them they work for me for my anxiety or for my Social anxiety.
