2020, the year of the apocalypse

I had 2 significant panic attacks today and I questioned why. Really?! I questioned why!? We’re in the middle of a pandemic, going on 2 months of quarantine, a man was murdered over 8 minutes and 46 seconds by the POLICE because he was a black man and we’ve watched the video of him dying in front of all of us a million times. I watched his service today, with his family and at one point, it became too much! There is SO much that we as a nation need to dig deeper into to address systemic racism, bigotry, discrimination, murders one could liken back to WWII mentality, etc. I guess when I look at it all, it’s no wonder I had 2 panic attacks. We just ended Mental Health Awareness month, I challenge all of you reading this to extend your awareness of the atrocities occurring in the world while being mindful of your own mental health.
