I have been taking Escitalopram off and on for years. I ran out a few months ago and found an old bottle and took them for about 25 days. Those 25 days were the best days that I have had in years. I felt free, happy, energetic and wasn't constantly living in my head in a negative self talk pattern. I was so excited to feel like my old self again.
Went to my Dr and got my Escitalopram refilled and noticed that the refill was from a different manufacturer. Well, now I'm back in my old pattern of anxiety, unhappiness, negative self talk, the brain haze and all other crappy feelings that come with depression.
I've tried to get a refill for the manufacturer that worked but have had no luck.
Has anyone ever had this same experience, is it common, or am I just out of luck?
