I’m new to this app but I thought I’d introduce myself, I’m Nancy, I’m 21 and I have been diagnosed with depression and anxiety, I find myself panicking about everything and worrying in hurting everyone I love, I find myself wanting to disappear a lot but I never do, I have been put on medication and meant to start CBT but thanks to COVID19 I haven’t been able to start this, if anyone has any advice it will always be welcome

Hi. CBT is all about thoughts, feelings, and behaviors. They all influence each other. It’s not easy to change your thoughts, so focus on your behaviors and the rest will slowly but surely follow
Welcome! Some things that help my anxiety and depression are identifying that that's what's going on, exercise, meditation (trying to do 10 mins/day now), taking some kind of action. That last one really can break my spiraling/thoughts. When it gets really bad, I tell someone (friend, crisis number, etc.). I'm in between counselors right now, so I understand your struggle. Hang in there.
