Just keep washing your hands and don't dance with strangers.

The corona pandemic is ten times worse for those with anxiety disorder. Because sensitive nerves always exaggerate the fears and the dangers by a factor of ten.

But it isn't only the risk of infection, many businesses will close and jobs lost before this nightmare is over no matter how much governments pump money into the system.

I hope everyone here avoids infection and if they do catch it the symptoms are mild. One day the danger will pass and we'll emerge with an even greater appreciation of life and the beauty of the natural world around us.

So wash your hands regular and keep your distance and stay home except for vital journeys for groceries and healthcare. And a big thank you to healthcare workers for all they do and all they risk for our sake.

Well said! How true of us with anxiety! We exaggerate every thing by a factor of ten. Fears and dangers true. I also am a reader of Dr. Claire Weeks and have received so much knowledge and understanding about anxiety, panic and our minds and how they play against us. I always feel good after reading from one of her books. We know in all starts in the mind but sometimes having the strength to overcome it, is the difficult part. Thanks for the post.

Thanks for such a positive n truthful letter. I totally agree🙏 Right now I’m feeling some sense of Calmness. I’ve lost about 50lbs from my anxiety. I’ve been reading about some members saying they don’t know how much more they can take? I get that way too sometimes there are days when WOW I’m SO physically and emotionally Exhausted? I Don’t Care. Bless You and All 🙏

I thank you asenath as I thank all others who responded here. Although there should be no complacency about this pestilence it's important to keep a sense of proportion.

So far in the u.k. 750 people have died of Coronavirus and many more will follow. But over the last year 30,000 people have died of pneumonia and 20,000 of influenza yet we accept those deaths as "normal" every year.

These last mentioned illnesses mainly carry off the very old and/or those with serious underlying illnesses. Just as the Coronabug has been causing deaths in the same group of people. When the statistics finally become available it will be interesting to know how many Corona deaths are extra deaths; and how many would otherwise have died of old age and illness any way due to pneumonia and influenza.

I keep saying this because I feel the need to.

Covid19 does not discriminate. Young healthy people have been dieing also.

Everyone please be mindful of this. Follow protocols and guidelines that we have been given.

Stay safe.

Our young people are not washing hands and are dancing with strangers unfortunately.😥

We are having to interject curfews (24 hours in one county) and closing ALL non essential businesses state wide. Young people are gathering in large quantities known as rolling block parties that are causing massive restrictions on our movements..

Our cases are doubling everyday. I’m well and I choose to self isolate, my husband too, he’s 60. My daughter is 7 months pregnant, so this is a scary time for my family.

Parents talk to your children, 15-20-30 years old even. Please help them see they are not invincible, they are not immune to this and being reckless will keep this being a threat for many months to come. As Dolphin14 says this virus does not discriminate.

Thanks for this post, if everyone will do their part this will start slowing and our lives as we know it today can start to go back the way it was. 💜🌺💜🌺

Great response.

If I may add. When symptoms hit please call your Md and get advice. If symptoms get worse call an emergency team. Some people are dieing because they are " waiting out symptoms"
