A couple more tips - detox your social media feeds. Follow therapists, doctors, nature, animals, something your interested in like hiking or art, people with positive helpful messages. If an account makes you feel bad for any reason, unfollow.
Journal.
Read a CBT workbook which usually have journaling exercises.
Diffuse some essential oils. If you have none, boil some orange or lemon peel
Meditate. Learn how on YouTube.
Listen to relaxing music/ nature sounds.

Good list but I disagree with #1.
Going to bed early should mean, go to bed on time.
Naps can be detrimental to our sleep, healthy sleepers can get away with occasional napping, those with compromised sleep should avoid naps.
Sometimes a “nap” can be just lying down in a quiet room but yes I see your point. I struggled with insomnia and avoided my bed until I was absolutely sure I was sleepy enough so I wasn’t tossing and turning and to associate my bed with actual sleep and not stress.
