How long are you giving your medications to work. Allow for at least five weeks for the drugs to work. It is not advisable to keep changing medications.
BOB
I don'y know if it's a placebo effect or timing, but Sam-E seems to have helped some.
It can be a slow transition, I agree with borderriever. Give it some time, but if you immediately/quickly don’t like the feel you get from your medication(within the first several weeks) then I definitely recommend seeing your doctor immediately and switching.
On a side note, do you keep a journal? Journaling a few minutes everyday could help you see any changes/trends.
In the end you know your mind/body best so trust your instincts and communicate with your doctor, and if your doctor isn’t responsive/addressing your concerns then get a different doctor.
I’ve had my own issues getting a specialist to listen to me, I had been with them for 6 years, but I ended up switching. Different doctors take different approaches, just don’t feel like your stuck with one opinion.
Best wishes,
