elements clashing
air water and some fire too
danger is looming
---------------------------------------
winds blowing strongly
clouds moving along quickly
a sky in motion
---------------------------------------
as rain crashes down
the daytime becomes dark
is doom upon us?
---------------------------------------
sudden sunshine glows
with nature's apology
a lovely rainbow

Right now in the UK we’re having stormy weather too 🤣
Also I relate to it with how I’m feeling right now
Thanks for sharing 😊

JEG325 in reply to Hidden 5 years ago It blah and warm here in Tampa. 80 today. I'd even like it if it rained, H!
I'm glad you liked it though!

Back to both of you. ❤️

Thx, L. I didn't sleep much. Feeling depressed and homesick for Ohio, fall and snow....Sad, isn't it?

Yes. Lol.

Go out and shovel some sand and see how your body feels tomorrow.

Don't think I would have traded it for a tropical storm or a hurricane either, L. Or even for longer, more humid summers.
Where is the variety here? What breaks up the weather monotony?

Embrace the subtleties, J. The mornings you can see your breath. Followed by a lazy, warm, breezy afternoon. Thunderstorms on the horizons. Torrential rains. And then your apologetic rainbows. There's different flowers at different times. We're in Strawberry Festival Season now.
I'm sorry to miss your Ohio. Why not take a visit back?

Sue wouldn't like it. It's cold there right now.....

I wouldn't blame her. Brrr. Maybe if you go over to Publix, they'll let you sit in their freezer for a few hours. 😎

Nah, I like looking at it, not feeling it.

Wonderful storm, sweetie! The haiku format you've chosen has worked out well with your writing skills. I love this!

I didn't ask where the rainbow came from. Since quite a few storms have rainbows, I always assume they're from God.

God is strong in my life and he brought me the greatest rainbow he could....a wonderful lady who also loves God. What an awesome end to a lot of my life's storms!
