Amitryptiline and Mirtazapine anyone on both please

I been told by my psych that I can take my Amitryptiline but up the dose to 50mg. She said I can reintroduce Mirtazapine 7.5 for sleep etc. I've been off the Mirtazapine 10 days now. I just wondered if anyone takes these 2 drugs and if so did it help you sleep

Hello, I am not familiar with Amitryptiline, but I do take Mertazapine. which I am being weaned off of, it helps with sleep, but is causes hunger and weight gain. I take 100mg of Melatonin which puts me to sleep. For depression & anxiety I am on 50 mg of Cymbalta which works very well for me. Hope this is of help.
