How to get rid of anxiety. I’m scared.

I’m just feeling scared. I’ve been sick all weekend with a stomach virus had fever all day yesterday. I suffer with anxiety/depression and now I’m scared due to low energy. I’m scared something bad might happen to me. But I know this is just panic. But it’s scary. Please send support.

I think you should go to the emergency room or to a care center and see what is going on with the stomach virus for starters if you have anyone to call to support you or take you that would be even better good luck and take care of yourself

Remember that your physical symptoms, like being sick, will directly effect your mental state. I was sick this weekend as well and I was struggling with my depression. I dont know if it is helpful, but I try to remember that my depression is hitting me because this outside force is triggering it. Its about constantly reminding yourself what is causing the feeling and trying to change that cause. Do what you can to get sleep, fluids, medicine and see a doctor if it is possible. Try using something like TV or someone you trust to support you and distract your mind. Most importantly remember that you WILL get through it and that you have support! I hope you feel better and your not alone in feeling these ways
