Highs & lows

It felt so amazing to experience genuine, consecutive, pure joy recently.

And then it went away.

Or I couldn’t maintain it.

Now I’ve managed to slip back into the dark place, where sleep & solitude are my best friends.

It all feels like whiplash.

But gratitude is still there.

And hopefulness is still there.

And those are two very new elements to my very familiar dark place.

I hope everyone is staying afloat! ✨🛶✨

I think its a good sign when we have brief episodes of joy. It shows that our brains are trying to get back to normal and hopefully these feelings will last longer and more often until we are well again. I do hope this happens for you. Keep strong
