Lol! 35 years. Then these huge clunky things came out bigger than your face. We had pagers. Anybody remember those?

These days I can go all day just to have my kids finally reach me and yell at me for not having my cell phone close. Yesterday I spilled Pepsi on it. I suppose I should clean it. 🤣🤣

Oh yeah! Pagers I had one. Lol not sure who was going to page me but I had one. I’m trying to get better but with all the social media aka this one, it’s hard. That’s how I stay connected with people. For work I have another cell phone that is provided so between my personal and my own it’s “double the fun” lol honestly I can’t see myself breaking away from my cell unless it’s a power outage and I can’t charge it. Then I let it charge in my car for a few, that’s probably the longest, now I think about it.

For a few years I had a work phone and two pagers from different hospitals. I couldn’t keep my scrubs up. Got a good laugh out of everyone though.

everyday....I don't use my phone at all....except maybe once a week. I don't have a 'smart phone'....I'm not a slave to the 'black mirror' of a cell phone in front of me waiting for a response. I do use my laptop for my group stuff like here, and also read the news...then even that goes off and I paint.

Sweetheart I'm 63 y.o. This is one of those "I remember back when..." stories. I did not own a cell phone until about 2004. It's for convenience. I do not do social media at all; my photo cannot be found on the internet. I'm putting nothing out there that anyone can really use. A little fact with a little fiction, close enough. It's my anti-social personality. Pagers? Yeah I had one back in the day for the obvious reason: When my dealer called. So long ago, so many vices left behind.
