Possibility talking, Can emotional numbness be a ssri withdrawal symptom or its from the disorder(depression, trauma)?

Everyone reacts differently. I was lucky I’ve come off antidepressants twice and not had any side effects, however I did it incredibly slowly and stopped for a while at each level of dose depending how I was feeling. My main issue was the sense of being low/tearful coming back rather than numb but I think that was just my body adjusting to coping without them. After staying at a dose for a few weeks I would feel better then try reducing further. Were you numb before you went on them, if so it may just be your symptoms coming back a little while your body adjusts?
