We All Feel Lost Sometimes, But We Can Be Found

UnderstandingMyPain profile image

Have you ever sat down quietly by yourself, stared off into the distance, and just felt as if you don’t belong? We are often given expectations, some by others and some by ourselves. Whether we actually live up to them is up to us. However, sometimes along the way we are struck with events that derail our train from the tracks.

It is not unheard of to feel like this. It is not unheard of to be completely far from your goals; in fact most of the time, the goal you originally set will change as you grow older and more experienced with life. As we age and mature, life exposes many of its secrets to us. Granting us the opportunities to see trials and tribulations that we then must find ways to work through.

Often, we find ourselves questioning where we are, finding new things to pick at. After the questioning comes the anger, along with the “what ifs.” Yeah, you’re not the only one who feels like this. Many of us get to a stage in our lives where things just do not make sense, even when things are going completely to plan.

Our biggest enemy in this life is FEAR. You must be courageous and brave when you try to take on the risks in life, and it is that which will bring you success. Step out of your box and be great! But you must be patient. If you lack patience, you will see how much harder it is for you to obtain success.

I can relate to your post. I'm constantly living the "what ifs". My mind is in the past or worrying about the future. It is hard for me to be in the present.

Completely understandable!!! The “what ifs” are more damaging to us.
