I’ve tried to rationalise so much but I’m really frightened recently I’ve been having more frequent headaches on top of my head mostly and now I feel sick plus I’ve been feeling a bit out of it and struggled to think clearly and I’m just terrified I’ve got a brain tumour I’m genuinely convinced of it I’m so so scared

I’m so worried right now I need help
Hi Meyer. First of all, hi! Second-please try not to panic. Headaches can be pretty debilitating and can definitely make you feel sick and confused, but that's totally normal and it doesn't mean it's a brain tumor. How long have you had them, and have you been to see a doctor about it?
Hi thank you so much for your reply I’ve not yet no and I couldn’t really give a specific timeline but definitely not more than a week or two and thank you it’s gone off now I’m just worried about the frequency of them
Hello I just thought I’d give a quick update my headaches have become less frequent but still happen every now and again I went to the optometrist early on this month and he said I don’t have a tumour so I’m just worried why I’m having more frequent headaches my neck also always feels like it needs stretching as well as eyes burning and relatively poor vision
Thank you so much for the update! I’m sorry I didn’t reply to your last message, lots going on my end so I haven’t been on here since! I’m really glad you got yourself checked out, well done! I know it can be scary but at least you know some big stuff has been ruled out. Phew! If it were me (and I’ve been there!) my next step would be the optician. I suffered from incredibly painful headaches over my right eye when I was younger, and they thought it was because I was straining to see. I didn’t feel like I was at ALL, but family noticed I was frowning at the tv, or squinting when I read etc. If that comes back clear, then in all honesty I would consider your stress and hydration levels. It sounds silly, but stress can have acute physical effects and manifest itself in various ways. And dehydration causes untold damage. So please take care of yourself, rest, drink lots of water, eat regularly (especially when you don’t feel like it) and be kind to yourself. Xx and keep us updated! Xx
