Hi there, I've been bothered with anxiety ie. chest pains for the last 4mths. Sometimes its completely gone but mostly it's there a little most days. I was doing a FT course, got stressed and its been ongoing, I'm not working at the moment which is worrying me too and I feel I'm being bullied behind my back.
Its starting to get more than annoying as I never used to be bothered much with physical anxiety. I went through a really bad time with depression and anxiety before christmas and really thought I wouldn't get over it. I have discovered a few natural supplements which keeps it at bay but not entirely.
I'm currently taking rhodiola rosea for mild depression and it seems to be helping but its not really helping the chest pains.

What I'd like to know is, would 5mg of lexapro be enough to decrease the chest pains, I don't have any restlessnness or agitation?
Would I end up with more anxiety (chest pains and develop agitation / restlessness) than what I have now for a few weeks or more till it gets into my system?

When I was on lexapro before when the anxiety was really bad, I had really bad restlessness and was desperate for it to stop. I ended up having to take 2mg x 3 times a day of diazepam to calm my body down.
Any advice / thoughts would be greatly appreciated.
