Hiya

I guess it would be really helpful if your bladder problem was under control. It can be very difficult to concentrate on anything when you need to use the restroom, can’t it? I’m wondering if the treatment you are receiving is for that.

Has any Dr, practice nurse or pharmacist ever explained how pelvic floor exercises and how to do them can stop or control the urge to urinate? Many people restrict the amount they drink to avoid having to use the restroom so often, but this can make matters worse by concentrating the urine which then irritates the urethra which gives the signal to urinate. It is also said that a headache or any ache usually comes from not having enough water to drink. Hopes this helps.

Hi again

You might like to take advice from your Dr or nurse.

Otherwise there is plenty of information and exercises on the internet under pelvic floor exercises or kegel exercises. Simply put you squeeze and pull the pelvic muscle up and hold for a few seconds remembering to breathe. Take no notice of advertisements for equipment cos it’s absolutely not necessary.

You are very young to have this distressing problem. I urge you to seek professional advice.

I am taking medical advice, doctors gave me solifinacin and mirabegon tablets to eat for 4 weeks, now 1.5 week dosage is left. But the tablets arent working much.I mean I have eaten solifinacin for 3 months before this, nithing works.

As my exams are near, I refused to undergo Urodynamic,MUCand Pelvic Malfunction examination because these exams will affect the state of my mind.Very uncomfortable as a catheter will be inserted through urethra.I cried many nights what will happen.I dont have courage to undergo them.I feel very stressed what to do.I feel very depressed sometimes.

I understand. The side effects of the medication is enough to make anyone feel low. The exercises will help. Did your Dr not recommend you do them? All pregnant women are advised to do them to avoid problems in later life. I have to admit I didn’t know about them before I saw a midwife.

I am so sorry that you are struggling with this while you need to concentrate on your studies. What can I say? I hated taking exams. I wish you well.

I will start with exercise but I hardly finds time.Yes I do cycling for 15-20 min and in future I am going to increase the duration to 1 hr.Cycling helps me connect to myself deeply and makes me a better human. Thanks a lot for understanding my situation because I hardly finds anyone in real life who supports me with this.Everyone feels this is a small issue and says that i make excuses all the time.

I have bladder spasms and a small bladder so I totally understand how you feel. Have you ever been tested for anxiety? That’s what I was diagnosed with and soon after I started treating my anxiety, I stopped having to go all the time. Worrying about the next pee or if you’re going to be able to is anxiety causing as well.

How to get tested for anxiety? Sometimes I feel very worried and lose my consciouness due to stress of work and peer pressure. But my parents supports me a lot and makes me feel I am no alien to them.

Hi,

I am sorry to read about the things that are affecting your quality of life.

It might be an idea to try to take ‘who cares’ attitude to your exam. Try not to worry about the outcome. It may be that your anxiety about doing well is causing your bladder problem to be felt as a bigger problem than it is. I’m only making a suggestion as I cannot relate to your experience personally.

I know that what helped me do quite well with my exams was to think that I will just do my best. If I don’t pass the exam then I will just have to find something else. I did get through the course fairly well and I think it is down to my taking the pressure of doing well off my shoulders and just doing the exam, maybe for fun!

Take care one moment at a time 😀

yes i have to give a national exam after 2 months. i am very anxious at this moment because my intelligence is not working up much for me..my head gets clouded up sometimes. but yes it would be the best if i take my exams normally and does not make it a death or life. Bladder problem is severely irritating medical condition. its like i am constantly having the feeling to wee ...i cant explain u,,...its totally sucks up sometimes..that too in the stage when ur peers are going ahead of you and all you are dng is laying on bed..cannot stress your muscles as you may feel like weeing again...oh god...i am

ruminating about this a lot.

sorry

i will surely follow your advice
